Teton Ridge and Gist Silversmiths Partner Up for The American

GIST Becomes an Official Sponsor of The American Rodeo

Arlington, Texas— February 21, 2023 — Teton Ridge and Gist Silversmiths jointly announced a partnership to this month to make GIST the “Official Buckle of The American Rodeo” and the “Official Buckle of The American Regionals”. In addition to providing the gold buckles for The American Rodeo finals as it has since 2016, GIST and Teton Ridge will expand the award program to provide top quality “American Made” silver and gold buckles for each of the three Regional Finals in the newly created Contender format, along with beautifully engraved buckles for the champions of The American Contender Finals.

NRCHA Partnership Renewal

Gist Silversmiths has extended their long-standing partnership with the National Reined Cow Horse Association through 2025.

“We are thrilled to renew our corporate partnership with Gist Silversmiths!” said Allison Walker, Communications Manager for NRCHA.

“Gist provides the best quality customer service and awards to the NRCHA and our members. We appreciate the team at Gist always going above and beyond for us. A great example of their dedication to our association is creating a brand new 2020 World Show qualifier buckle . After a difficult year, Gist wanted to offer something special to our exhibitors to commemorate their hard work to get qualified for the World Show, even if they are unable to attend.”

The 2021 Celebration of Champions will take place in Fort Worth, Texas from February 9 – 20. It includes riders competing for World Championship titles, as well as the World’s Greatest Horseman and World’s Greatest Youth Horseman. Gist championship buckles are awarded across each of these competitions, along with the Cow Horse Classic Derby.

“This partnership offers so many synergies with our many industry partnerships, including the National High School Rodeo Association,” announced Jennifer Folsom, V.P. of Marketing & Business Development for Gist. NHSRA approved the addition of Reined Cow Horse to their slate of events in 2014 and this “World’s Largest Rodeo” now includes over 100 high school youth qualifiers annually competing for a World Championship title in Reined Cow Horse. “We are honored to create distinctive trophy buckles to recognize the achievements across the many premier events hosted by the NRCHA throughout the year.”
